THE STORY

About 0G

0G is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 network designed to support high-performance, data-intensive applications and onchain AI infrastructure.

Challenge

0G's mainnet distribution had to serve different types of participants without forcing them through the same path. For the airdrop, the team needed to bring together eligibility signals across wallets and social identities, complete mandatory KYC and make claiming accessible on a new network. Node recipients required a separate model that could reward those willing to wait longer before claiming.

Solution

Clique built the hosted airdrop experience around eligibility, KYC and gasless claims. Users could have multiple eligible wallets, choose between Blockpass and zkMe for verification, then use a slider to decide what percentage of their allocation to claim and what percentage to stake into GIMO. Claiming and staking were executed in a single transaction.

Separately, Clique supported 0G in developing the node distribution contracts. For the time-based portion of the node allocation, the amount available increased the longer a recipient waited before claiming. Claiming earlier remained possible at a discounted amount, with the unclaimed remainder returning to the 0G Foundation.

Results

The resulting setup gave 0G two distinct distribution systems tailored to different participant behaviors. Airdrop recipients could move from eligibility and KYC to a gasless claim while choosing their own claim-to-stake split. Node recipients had a separate time-based path that rewarded waiting longer without removing the option to claim earlier.

THE SYSTEM

Different recipients. Different paths to alignment.

  4. Set claim amount(optional to claim partial)
  5. Confirm and execute
