Supporting Eigen through two stages of its token launch.

EigenLayer is a protocol built around restaking, enabling staked assets to be used to secure additional services and applications. The Eigen Foundation supports the long-term growth of the EigenLayer ecosystem.

EigenLayer needed to launch EIGEN while its restaking ecosystem and AVS infrastructure were still maturing. The token was initially non-transferable, giving the ecosystem time to develop while still allowing users to claim, stake and delegate their EIGEN. As the ecosystem progressed toward transferability, the distribution experience also needed to evolve.

Clique built EigenLayer's Season 1 claim experience for non-transferable EIGEN, enabling eligible users to claim and move directly into staking and delegation. For Season 2, Clique adapted the infrastructure for a retroactive distribution, including social verification linking contributors' identities to their wallets, while keeping the registration and claim experience straightforward at scale.

Across Seasons 1 and 2, EigenLayer made 186.6M EIGEN claimable to its community. In Season 1 Phase 1, more than 88% of claimed EIGEN was staked and delegated, showing strong early participation in the ecosystem. Clique's infrastructure supported both distribution seasons as EigenLayer progressed toward token transferability.
