Evolving distribution as Plume moved to mainnet.

Plume is an RWA-focused Layer 1 blockchain designed to bring real-world assets and financial activity onchain.

Plume needed to distribute PLUME before its own network was live, while creating a path for early supporters to move with the project onto mainnet. Once Plume launched as an L1, the distribution also needed to encourage users to engage with the ecosystem rather than end at a one-time claim.

Clique built a two-phase distribution system. In Phase 1, users could claim on Ethereum, receive through an exchange, or defer their allocation until Plume mainnet for up to 66% additional tokens.

After mainnet launch, Clique supported gasless claims on Plume and contribution-based unlocks. Users could access part of their allocation initially, then accelerate access to the remainder through qualifying ecosystem participation. Users who did not participate could receive the remaining allocation after 90 days.

More than 96% of eligible wallets claimed, while nearly half chose to defer their rewards until Plume mainnet. The two-phase system allowed Plume to carry its distribution from Ethereum into its own network, then connect faster unlocks with continued ecosystem participation.
